I couldn’t believe the scale this morning! 9 lbs down in one week?!
I weighed myself twice to be sure. I could have been retaining water or something last week and yes, I weighed in the am both times.
But, I’m going to take it! That’s nearly 1/10 of the way to my goal. Huge success! Great getting a big number the first week out of the gate.
Every week of course won’t be like this. I’m trying to lose 2.5lbs/wk, which is completely healthy. But this was definitely a nice surprise!
I’m even more motivated than before to keep doing what I’ve been doing and making the right choices. Seeing the scale go down is all the reward I need- food is no longer that reward, or a comfort me to.
Feeling pretty good right about now!
